This is a chocolate, oatmeal drop cookie which uses oil instead of butter for those watching cholesterol.
Put the sugar, cocoa, oil, and milk into a saucepan.
Bring it to a good rolling boil for about 1 minute. (If it is boiled longer than that, the cookies will be very hard.)
Remove from heat and add the peanut butter.
When it is blended into the chocolate mixture, add vanilla and butter flavoring
Add the oats last.
Then using a large spoon, drop the cookies onto waxed paper. They are a little thin at first. The cookies need to set up for about an hour to be firm.
Put half of the oats into the food processor to make a fine oat flour of it. This will yield a cookie with more body.
