Pour hot/warm water (125°), sugar, molasses and yeast into a large mixing bowl.
Mix well, speed three to mix. Wait 10 minutes for bubbles to form with a towel covering the top of bowl, can do 10 extra minutes if not enough bubbles form.
Add 3 cups flour and mix well at speed 3. Let this mixture sponge for about 10 minutes with a towel over top of bowl.
Add 1/4 cup butter, salt, dough enhancer, oats.
Beat until smooth at speed 1 using a dough hook. Add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Continue beating for 6 minutes (this replaces the first rising).
Divide dough in half. Shape into two loaves and place in greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Do not let rise higher than the sides of pan, it will keep rising as it bakes.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped. Remove from pans to cool on wire racks.
Brush with melted butter.
