Heat oven to 350
In large bowl, beat butter and sugars with electric mixer till creamy
Add eggs & vanilla, beat well
Combine flour, soda, cinnamon and salt, gradually add to above mixture
Add oats and raisins and mix well.
Refridgerate for at least two hours or overnite.
Form balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack
