Suggest a better descriptionIn a 6 qt or larger teflon coated pot, saute onions. Lightly brown meat, drain and add. Add rest of ingredients and simmer at least 2 hrs in crockpot. Add water if needed (cooking on low of crockpot should keep you from needing water!). This chili will be strong, very thick and hot!!
Notes: To make milder, increase your tomato ratio or your meat. -*The secret??? The BRAND of chili powder!! To make an even BETTER chili than this one---mix
brands of chili powder, but then this would not be an Oktoberfest WINNER !
Some that like stronger chili also INCREASE the amt of Chili powder by as much as 3 more tablespoons!
