Suggest a better descriptionPut pie crust into a 9 inch plate, set aside.
Combine apples with 1 cup sugar, cornstartch, vanilla, and cinnamon to coat the apples.
Spoon into prepared pie shell.
Dot with butter.
Roll remaining pie crust to 1/8 inch thickness, and place over filling.
Seal and flute.
Cut slits into top crust to allow steam to escape.
Brush pastry with milk, and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon and sugar.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 and bake 30 minutes.
