Preheat oven to 375F. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside Cream together teh butte and sugar until very light. Add egg and blend well; mix in vanilla. Gradually add dry mixture to creamed mixture. Slowly blend in milk. Drop cookies on a greased cookie sheet, placing each 2" apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Source: Dining In Shared by: Sharon Herrington
