Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 325*. In a medium bowl, stir eggs and sugar with a spoon until mixed. Do not use a hand mixer, do not over stir. Add in syrup, salt and vanilla. Arrange pecan halves in bottom of pie crust. Pour syrup mixture over pecans. Bake at 325* for an hour. Pecans will rise to the top.
Continue baking until pie filling is no longer “jiggly”. Sometimes I have to bake an extra 10-15 minutes.
