Suggest a better descriptionLine 9x5x3 pan with foil- extend over edges
Butter foil
Butter 2 qt sauce pan
Combine sugar, milk, chocolate, and corn syrup
Cook to boil
Cook to soft boil stage (20 - 25 minutes)
Remove from heat. Add margarine and vanilla
Do not stir
Cool with out stirring (about 55 minutes)
Beat all with spoon until thickened
Add nuts if desired
Continue beating until very thick and looses glass - (about 10 minutes)
Spread fudge into pan
Score into squares while warm
When candy is firm, cut into squares.
Store tightly covered.
Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
