Add onion to bacon grease and cook til tender.
Add minced garlic to onion and cook 1 minute. Drain fat.
Cook in a pot - chicken bouillon, water, onion, and potatoes. Cook about 15 minutes until the potatoes are almost finished.
Add kale and whipping cream.
Simmer 4-6 minutes
Add sausage and bacon pieces.
