Suggest a better descriptionbeat egg whites with a dash of salt until stiff. Beat yolks with sugar til creamy white. Add vanilla. Shred carrots. Mix with flour and baking powder, nuts. Add carrot mixture to egg yolks. Then add egg whites, gently combining. Mix in lemon rind.
Bake in springform, well greased at 350 deg, 1 hour. Heat cream and chocolate. Pour over cake when it has cooled.
