From my mother-in-law, Viola Nissen. She cooked for a lot of farm-hands and cut this recipe down for me.
1. Slice vegetables in order given into greased baking dish.
2. Layer rice over vegetables, then the cooked hamburger. Last, pour the tomato juice over all.
3. Bake 1 1/2 hrs at 350.
