Cut onions into ring and place in large bowl. Combine the rest of the ingredients and blend in blender i=until smooth to get a thick consistency. (Add water if you need to). Pour over onions and mix thoroughly with your hands making sure that the misture is glued to the onions consistently.
Place onions on a teflex sheet or parchment paper on top of a mesh dehydrator and dehydrate according to your dehydrator's specifications until completely dry. Rotate onions occasionally to dry uniformly.
