Yummy and delicious home made rolls that my Mother has made her entire life and they rock!
Soften yeast in warm water. Combine milk and butter; bring to scaling point. Dissolve sugar and salt in milk mixture, cool slightly; put in large bowl. Blend in eggs and orange rind. When lukewarm stir in yeast and flour. Cover with cloth and let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about an hour. Divide dough into 2 parts. Roll each part out on lightly floured surface to 1/4" thick. Spread soft, tub margarine over dough. Sprinkle w/Tang.
Roll as for jelly roll, beginning with long side. Seal edges by pinching together. Cut in slices about 1/2" thick. Place in well greased found cake pan. Cover and let rise until double in bulk, about 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. Frost with a light orange glaze.
You can make cinnamon rolls out of this recipe by omitting the orange rind and replacing the Tang with Cinnamon.
