In a saucepan combine all ingredients except chicken and heat while stirring until butter and jelly are melted and sauce is smooth. Cool sauce. Place chicken in baking pan. Pour sauce over all; marinade in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover chicken and bake for 1 hour. Uncover, increase temperature to 400 degrees and continue to bake, basting frequently until chicken is an even dark brown.
