1) Zest the orange and squeeze all of the juice into a medium saucepan
2) Add the cranberries, sugar and walnuts and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally breaking up the cranberries as they gradually pop and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes
3) Let cool and serve
