Pre Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well between each addition. Add vanilla extract, mix well and scrape the bottom of the bowl to ensure all ingredients are well mixed. Fold in Orange slice candies and chopped nuts.
In a second bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Add dry ingredients to creamed ingredients, and fold together until mixture is well blended.
Place mixture into a well greased 9X13 pan and bake for 20-25 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean). Remove from oven to a cooling rack and let cool 30 minutes before cutting into bars. Remove bars from pan and finish cooling on cookie rack. Enjoy!
