Cook pasta by package directions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of cooking water.
Heat oil in large skillet. Add onions and garlic plus 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Cook stirring often, until tender - 8 to 10 minutes. Add to pasta along with olives, almonds, lemon juice, Parmesan, 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper and the cooking water. Add ricotta and stir till combined. Serve.
