Heat oven to 425 degrees. In oven, melt butter in oil in baking dish. Mix flour, salt, and paprika in a plastic bag. Shake chicken legs in flour mixture, coating thoroughly.
Place chicken in hot oil/butter mixture. Cook uncovered for 30 minutes. Turn chicken and cook another 30 minutes.
