This is our Christmas Eve tradition. Excellent stew.
Note that recipe is for one serving - adjust based on number of servings.
Mix together water, flour and salt in large pot. Add oysters (include juice). Add butter. Simmer. Once the stew is hot and the oysters look slightly cooked - add the half and half.
Heat and serve. You can add milk if you need more volume.
Do not boil!!!!!
