I got this recipe off a hunts diced tomatoes can. It has chicken, smoked sausage, onion, rice, tomato, water, peas, and cilantro. It looked so good that I thought we would try it.
Cook chicken, sausage and onion in large nonstick skillet over med. Heat about 5 min. Or just until chicken is browned on all sides, stirring frequently.
Add tomatoes, rice and water, mix well.
Bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat to med.-low, cover and cook 20 min. Or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Stir in peas. Cook 1 min. More or until peas are hot.
Sprinkle with cilantro, if desired.
