Paleo Chili from Faydra
Put about 2 tbs olive oil in a pan and get it hot, sear the chunks of steak in batches, don't crowd it or it wont brown.
It does not have to be cooked at this point just brown and pull it out. (I go ahead and put it in my crock pot at this point)
Add a little more oil if needed an add diced onion, allow this to brown until the onion is transparent.
Add beef broth and let it cook down until it is reduced by half (this gives your chili a really meaty base) (I go ahead and put it in my crock pot at this point)
Add ground beef to frying pan until it browns a bit.
Move ground beef to crock pot
Add almond flour, garlic, spices, tomatoes and simmer on low heat for a couple of hours. It gets better the longer it cooks.
