Easy inexpensive one-dish meal.
1 - In a large frying pan with a lid, brown ground beef on medium, drain excess fat.
2 - Add onion, mushrooms and bell pepper, and cook until onion is semi-transparent.
3 - Add full can of chopped tomatoes, including all liquid.
4 - Add pasta, spices, water and stir into mix.
5 - Cover with lid and simmer until the liquid is absorbed by the pasta; test pasta by taste to make sure it is cooked before serving.
Play with the spices; some like it hot, some like it mild. Frozen vegetables can be added to to add more nutrition. More pasta can be added to extend it with out adding more cost.
