One the oven reaches temperature, remove the skillet and place it on the range over high heat for 5 minutes.
Coat the steak with oil and season
Sear in the pan for 30 seconds on each side.
Put the pan back in the oven and cook the steak for 2 minutes on each side.
Remove from oven and remove steak from pan. Tent with foil for 2 minutes.
