Heat Oven to 400.
Put butter in baking dish, can be souffle type, or larget cast iron skillet. Melt butter and heat dish in oven. Watch butter, do not let it burn.
Blend eggs, vanilla, and milk either with whisk or in a blender (easiest in a blender) then add flour and sugar. Once dish is hot and butter melted quickly and carefully remove dish and gently pour batter with a swirling motion to very carefully mix hot butter into batte.r Bake 20-25 minutes.
It will be done when tripled in size and lightly browned.
