In a large skillet, combine salad dressing with butter. Add chicken and brown slowly.
Place chicken in a greased 9-inch x 13-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine soup and cream cheese. Stir in chives and wine and blend well. Spoon sauce over chicken.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Baste with sauce at least twice while cooking.
