A quick & easy bread recipe which also can be used for pizza dough and rolls.
In mixing bowl add 1 cup flour and all remaining ingredients. Beat at medium speed for two minutes, add 1 cup flour and beat on high speed for two minutes. Stir in one cup flour, cover and let rest for 45 minutes. (Time for a cocktail)
Prepare greased cookie sheet, sprinkled with corn meal. Punch in remaining flour (1/2 cup) until dough pulls away from bowl. Form dough into french loaf and place on cookie sheet. Cover and let rest 40 minutes. (good news, time for another cocktail)
Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. For crispier crust brush beaten egg whited on loaf prior to baking.
**If packaged yeast is not available use 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast.
