Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and garlic and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (to a safe internal temperature of 165 F), stirring frequently. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate, reserving the pan drippings.
Heat remaining olive oil with the reserved pan drippings and add the carrot. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the broccoli and cook for 2 minutes or until the broccoli is tender-crisp, stirring frequently. Add the broth, basil, cheese and chicken and mix well. Reduce the heat and simmer for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Place the pasta in a large serving bowl. Top with chicken mixture. Serve immediately. Refrigerate any leftovers.
