Take the sausage out of the case and sautéed in olive oil. Cook until not pink. Add diced onion, garlic and carrots and sautéed for 3-5 min on medium. Don't brown or the garlic will get bitter. Add crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Rinse beans and add. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer and add pasta and seasonings to taste. Cook until pasta is done. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
