IN LARGE FRYING PAN POUR THE GLASS OF OIL AND PLACE ONIONS. FRY UNTIL THEYARE SOFT BUT NOT GOLDEN BROWN. ADD THE DICED BACON AND CONTINUE TO FRY UNTIL THE BACON IS COOKED.
IN THE MEANTIME PLACE THE PASTA IN A PAN OF BOILING WATER WITH A DASH OF OLIVE OIL AND SALT AND COOK
UNTIL THE PASTA IS AL'DENTE AND ALSO BOIL THE gREENS BEANS WITH A LITTLE SALT UNTIL SOFT THEN ADD THE pASTA AND bEANS TO THE PAN WITH THE ONIONS AND BACON TOGETHER WITH THE BASIL, ADD THE 12 BEATEN EGGS SALT AND PEPPER AND MIX TOGETHER. REHEAT THE PAN AND COOK AT A VERY LOW HEAT UNTIL THE BASE STARTS TO SET. THEN ADD THE CHEESE AND REMOVE PAN FROM HEAT.
REMOVE THE PAN HANDLE AND PLACE IN THE OVEN FOR ABOUT
40 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE TOP STARTS TO BROWN, AND IS SET.
REMOVE FROM OVEN AND LEAVE TO COOL BEFORE REMOVING THE BAKE FROM THE PAN AND PLACING IT ON THE SERVING DISH.
