Combine all ingredients in a large bowl except broth and pasta. Divide evenly between 8 containers. Add 4 cups of beef broth to each container. Seal and freeze. Save 1/2 cup of pasta for use when preparing. To use place contents of container in slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Stir in 1/2 cup of pasta and cook for one more hour. Garnish with parmesan Cheese (optional)
