Suggest a better descriptionBeat cream cheese, 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, 1/4 tsp salt, & lemon juice together & put into fridge. Mix yeast w/ water. Combine the butter, sour cream, eggs, sugar & salt. Add yeast mixture & flour. Beat til smooth then place in a greased bowl. Cover & refrigerate for several hours til chilled & slightly risen.
Punch dough down & divide in half. Roll out each half on a greased cookie sheet to approx 16" x 10" rectange. Spread half the filling down the center third of each pastry half. On each side make 1 1/2" wide strips by about 3" toward center.
Fold the strips across the filling in the middle. Covger & let rise til doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 min til browned. Mix Powdered sugar & enough milk to spread. Warm, then spread on top when slightly cooled.
