Microwave the chickpeas in a medium bowl until hot (about 1 minute 30 seconds). Stir in oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper and let sit for 30 minutes.
Add orange segments, onion, cilantro, chipotle peppers and kale.
Toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
