Suggest a better descriptionPut 1 sheet of pastry on baking sheet. Spread half of sour cream over pastry. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle half of grated cheese over sour cream; salt and pepper to taste. Place ham over cheese, leaving about 1/2 inch around all edges. Place remaining cheese over ham.
Dollop remaining sour cream over the ham. Sour cream does not need to be spread. Place remaining pastry on top, pressing firmly and smoothing to spread layer of sour cream beneath. use a small amount of the sour cream to adhere pastry edges together on all sides. Press firmly to seal. Preheat oven to 375. Add 1 drop of water to egg yolk to thin and mix well. Salt and pepper to taste. Brush egg yolk over top of pastry. Use a knife tip to score pastry top for decoration and to let steam escape. Bake for about 30 minutes. Check after 20 minutes.
