Delicious, peachy summer treat.
Cook peaches slightly with sugar, butter (1 T.), and cornstarch. Set aside.
Melt 1 stick butter in pan and leave. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk. Drop batter by spoonfuls into butter filled pan. Pour in peaches.
Bake at 400? for 20 - 30 minutes.
I usually double the recipe, particularly the cobbler portion.
