Suggest a better descriptionCombine all above ingredients in small saucepan. Cook over low heat until clear and thick, stirring constantly. Cool while making crust.
Grease 8x8 pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda, brown sugar and butter in a bowl and mix well. Remove 1/3 of mixture and set aside. Add oats and mix well. Press mixture into greased pan. Spread cooked mixture evenly over crust. Sprinkle reserved flour mixture over filling.
Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
Triple recipe for 12 x 15 baking pan, makes 20-24 bars.
