Cook surgar, syrup and water in large heavy saucepan, stirring contantly after it comes to a rolling boil. Cook until small amount crackles when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat and add margarine and stir until melted. Return to heat and add peanuts slowly so mixture does not cool too rapidly. Continue cooking and stirring until golden in color. Remove from heat; add vanilla and beat in sokad. Pour quickly onto 2 greased cookie sheet and spread as thin as possible, using a fork to help stretch the cooling candy. When cooled, break into pieces.
