In large bowl, with electric mixer on medium speed, beat together butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg until well blended.
With wooden spoon, stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder until dough forms.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in additional granulated sugar. On cookie sheets lined with parchment paper, place balls about 2 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately press a milk chocolate candy in center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack.
