A simple seasonal pud with a delicious hint of spice. Very good served with a thick Greek style yoghurt
Preheat the oven to 200*c
Peel and core and halve or quarter the pears depending on the size, lay them in a shallow roasting tray.
In a bowl mix the butter, sugar, cardamom and lemon zest, dot all over the pears and roast for 20-25 mins or until tender basting half way through.
Remove from the oven and serve warm or cold (rather than chilled) with Greek yoghurt
