Suggest a better descriptionPreheat the oven to 300F. Mix oatmeal, pecans, sesame seeds, agave, oil, maple syrup and salt until combined. Transfer to a cookie sheet and spread evenly into a single layer. Bake 15 minutes then stir with a spatula. Bake another 15 minutes, then stir again and bake another 10 minutes until lightly brown. Remove from oven. Let cool completely then store in an airtight container in a cool place. Granola will keep fo4 2-3 weeks.
*If you like your granola chewier and chunkier, substitute rolled old-fashioned oats for the quick cooking kind, keep your pecans whole, and sir only once, watching carefully and rotating tray to avoid burning. another option is to switch the nuts for almonds, walnuts, or cashews.
