Pre-heat oven to 350*. In a 3 quart saucepan, cook maple syrup, sugar, butter over medium heat until mixture boils. Reduce heat to medium low and cook 5 minutes longer, stirring.
In large bowl with whisk beat eggs lightly; slowly whisk in hot syrup mixture. Stir in vanilla.
Place pecans in the pie crust and then pour the hot syrup over them.
Bake at 350* for 45-50 minutes or until filling is set. Cool for 1 hour.
Whip cream with powdered sugar and bourbon. Dallop on pie and serve.
