Scald milk, stir in 1/4 cup butter, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm Dissolve yeast in warm water in warmed bowl. Add lukewarm milk mixture 2 1/2 cups flour and egg.
Attach bowl and dough hook Turn to Speed 2 and mix 2 minutes until well blended Continuing on Speed 2 add remaining flour 1/2 cup at a timeuntil dough clings to hook and cleans sides of bowl Knead on speed 2 for 3 to 5 minutes or until dough is sommth and elastic
Place in a greased bowl tuning to grease top jCover let rise in warm place free from draft until doubled in buld about 45 minutes
Punch dough down Roll dough to a 12 inch square Combine 1/2 cup brown sugare and 1/4 cup pecans sprinkle over dough jRoll dough tightly pinching seams together Cut into twelve 1 inch slices
Melt remaining butter and add remainig brown sugar and pecans mix well Spoon into 12 greased muffin cups Place one dough slice cut side up into each muffin cup Cover let rise in warm place free form draft until doubled in bulk about 1 hour
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes Invert pan on wire rack let stand 3 minutes then remove
