For a keto version, swap out penne pasta with zucchini noodles.

Boil pasta.
Fry bacon in a large skillet (drippings will remain in skillet to make sauce).
Remove bacon from pan and chop into small pieces.
Add to grease in pan: roma tomatoes, garlic and a little chicken broth.
When tomatoes and garlic are soft, pour contents of skillet into a blender, add remaining broth and blend until smooth.
Put sauce back in skillet.
Add cream, sugar and rosemary.
Simmer on low until sauce is thick.
Remove rosemary sprigs from sauce.
Add all of the meat to the sauce.
Add the pasta to the sauce.
Simmer for a few minutes until meat is hot.
Serve while hot!
