A delicious pasta creation for any night of the week. It's very easy and brings a warm taste at first bite. And don't worry you don't even taste the vodka.
Follow directions on box to prepare pasta.
Meanwhile, heat saucepan over medium heat, add oil. Add bay leaves, onion, red pepper flakes and a dash of salt. Stir until onion is soft. Stir in tomato paste, cook until paste has thickened and is combined with onions. Add dry white wine and cook until wine has evaporated.
Pour in tomato sauce, stir until all ingredients are combined and bubbly. Reduce heat and simmer for at least 15 minutes.
Remove bay leaves from pan and discard. Stir in vodka and cook until well combined. Once vodka has slightly evaporated. If desired season with pepper (this will add more spice). Once cream and vodka are combined drop in pasta. Cook for another minute, or until pasta is covered with sauce. Plate dish, garnish with Parmesan cheese and basil. Eat immediately.
