1: preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius
2: beat butter until soft then add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
3: beat in one egg at a time until fully incorporated.
4: fold in self raising flour.
5: divide into 12 cupcake cases and bake in oven for 12-15 min until golden brown.
6: decorate with icing, butter icing, cream and jam ect.
Make sure to beat the butter and sugar plenty and do plenty of folding to make them light and fluffy!
