A delicious, Asian-influenced recipe for leftover turkey that transcends the usual hash and sandwiches. Almost everyone loves lettuce wraps, and this is no exception. Fresh and healthy, quick and easy!
Place turkey in a medium saucepan over medium heat; add hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ginger and pepper flakes, stirring constantly until heated and well blended.
Remove from heat; add pears, lime juice and zest, stirring well. Season with salt and pepper, as desired.
Fill lettuce leaves with warm turkey mixture; top with nuts, carrots and mint leaves.
Yield: 4 main dish or 12 appetizer servings.
