Add beaten egg and soda.
Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add raisins and chopped nuts.
Mix in flour, cinnamon, salt, cloves, nutmeg.
Add pulp mixture and mix together.
Bake st 375 for 10-12 minutes.
