Suggest a better descriptionSanitize the jar. I put it in the oven at 250 degrees f for about 15 minutes.
Clean and sanitize the lids.
Slice the jalapenos.
Bring all ingredients except for the jalapenos to a boil.
Add the jalapenos to the mixture and turn off the heat.
Let sit off of the heat, uncovered for about 15 minutes.
Add jalapenos to the mason jar and cover with the remaining brine.
Leave uncovered until it reaches room temp.
Cover and store in the fridge.
