Home Made Pie Crust
Can substitute 1 cup shortening (Crisco or Clover in CR) for the lard+butter.
Cut butter and lard into flour with two knives until pea sized.
Mix with hands until the mixture forms a moist ball and the bowl comes clean.
Split in half and roll out on a floury surface. Makes two 9" crusts. (May refrigerate other half till ready to use later. Let sit at room temperature for awhile before attempting to roll out after being refrigerated.)
