Suggest a better descriptionMakes 2 9 - 11 inch pie crusts.
Mix dry ingredients in bowl of food processor, pulse a few times to blend. Drop in diced cold butter and shortening, pulse 8 - 12 times until butter is the size of peas, with machine still running pour the ice water in. Pulse until dough begins to form a ball. Dump dough onto a floured board and roll into a ball. Cut the ball in half and wrap each half in plastic wrap - refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Once thoroughtly chilled you can now roll the dough for your pie(s). I have cut this in half and it still works well.
