Suggest a better descriptionSift flour with salt. Cut in the shortening coarsely, about pea sized pieces. This allows for flakiness. Sprinkle with enough cold water to bind the batter. Mix lightly with a knife and turn onto a floured surface and knead lightly. Shape into 2 balls and chill before rolling out. Makes 2 pie crusts, or a top and bottom for one pie.
Fill with your pie filling and bake at 350' for 30 minutes.
